About

A tall eucalypt named among the forest trees of Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, and a key component of the Sydney region's critically endangered Blue Gum High Forest ecological community on the Cumberland Plain further west.

How to spot it

A tall, straight tree (30-55m, rarely to 65m) with rough, flaky brownish bark at the base and smooth pale grey to white bark above. Lance-shaped adult leaves and white flowers in groups of seven, nine or eleven.
