About
Found on Burleigh Head's seaward slopes and along Tallebudgera Creek, this she-oak tolerates brackish, waterlogged ground where the water table sits close to the surface.
How to spot it
Drooping grey-green branchlets with scale-like leaves in whorls of 12, fissured greyish-brown bark, small winged seed cones.
