About
The only species in its genus, this evergreen tree grows along rainforest margins from Queensland into New South Wales and is named among the rainforest-pocket species tucked into Beowa National Park's sheltered gullies.
How to spot it
Compound leaves with 5-9 leaflets (fewer than the related red cedar, which has 8-20). Reddish, three-lobed capsule fruit matures December-January, splitting to reveal two or three seeds wrapped in a red aril.
