About
A perennial tuberous carnivorous sundew endemic to southwest WA, growing as a ground-hugging rosette. Listed among the common spring wildflowers of Serpentine National Park alongside spider orchids, greenhoods and triggerplants.
How to spot it
Grows as a flat rosette of sticky, insect-trapping leaves. Many-flowered inflorescences with up to 50 individual flowers per stem. One subspecies (squamosa) shows distinctive red leaf margins from dense red tentacles.
