About
Recorded in the rainforest stands of Kondalilla National Park, this ash releases a liniment-like scent when its bark or leaves are bruised and colonises the ecotone between eucalypt and rainforest.
How to spot it
Dark glossy green leaves with silvery fine hairs underneath, fissured grey bark, small greenish-white flowers in late autumn/early winter, dark globular fruit about 1.5cm.
