About
A wiry, twining climber that scrambles through coastal forest and reserve understorey across eastern Australia, featured by NPWS as one of the flowering highlights of Broken Head Nature Reserve.
How to spot it
Prostrate or climbing sub-shrub with wiry stems to 2m or more; leathery, egg-to-lance-shaped leaves 30-100mm long; racemes of 20-40 small purple pea-flowers, each with a yellowish spot on the standard petal, blooming August to November.
