About
An upright shrub to small tree of southwestern WA woodlands, formerly classified as Dryandra sessilis. Wikipedia's Yanchep National Park article lists it among the park's characteristic flowering woodland species.
How to spot it
Grows up to 6m tall with prickly dark-green to blue-green leaves. Dome-shaped cream-yellow flowerheads 4-5cm wide contain 55-125 individual flowers, blooming mostly July-November.
