About
A scrambling, prickly bramble native to eastern Australia and named among the understorey plants of Barrington Tops National Park. It produces small red aggregate berries that are edible and were traditionally eaten by Aboriginal people.
How to spot it
A curved-prickle bramble to about 2m with pinnate leaves of three to five toothed leaflets. Small red-to-pink flowers cluster at branch tips, developing into soft red raspberry-like fruit around 1cm across.
