Hoary Sunray

About

A woolly-leaved perennial daisy of grassy woodland and grassland. The endangered form is protected in a population on Mount Majura alongside the reserve's critically endangered orchids.

How to spot it

An upright, tufted perennial to 45cm with grey, woolly, linear-to-egg-shaped leaves crowded near the base, and papery white-to-yellow daisy flowerheads 2-4cm across, flowering in spring and summer.
