Coastal White Mallee

About

A low mallee eucalypt confined to a narrow band along Australia's southern coastline, forming dense, wind-pruned scrub on the limestone cliffs and dunes of the Eyre Peninsula around Lincoln National Park.

How to spot it

Smooth cream-and-grey bark, olive-green to bluish-green lance-shaped adult leaves 55-100mm long. White to creamy-yellow flowers in buds of 7, 9 or 11, followed by woody cup-shaped capsules.
