About
A dense coastal shrub found right around southern Australia's shoreline, forming a key part of the frontal dune vegetation at Canunda and producing bright white berries that coastal birds rely on.
How to spot it
Stiff, smooth, narrow leaves. Tiny star-shaped white flowers, furry inside, in short spikes, followed by round white berries about 3mm across that ripen from green to bright white.
