About

A striking buttressed rainforest tree on K'gari, producing bright blue spherical fruit whose colour comes from structural colouration in the fruit skin rather than pigment.

How to spot it

Buttressed trunk base, leaves 60-180mm with wavy edges turning bright red before dropping, creamy-white flower racemes, bright blue-purple fruit 15-23mm.
