Planning with Aus Trails Pro: what is available now
By Aus Trails · Reviewed against the current app.
Choose your trail using the free map and practical information first. Pro adds optional planning tools. This guide separates the extras you can use today from ideas that are still on the roadmap.
Start with the free trail tools
Trail browsing, elevation profiles, 3D terrain, offline-area maps, live location and off-route warnings are part of the free app. You can explore the trail library and species guides without paying.
A free account enables community participation and buddy connections. The account requirement for a social feature is separate from a Pro subscription. You do not need to begin a Pro trial to browse trail information.
Use the current Pro planning extras
Pro offers adjustable terrain shading and an online rain radar layer for the map. Saved collections let you organise trails into named groups. The printable map option prepares a trail map and elevation sheet for paper.
Explore a real route before deciding what you need. Terrain shading is a visual aid; radar is time-dependent connected information. A printed route is a snapshot, and none of these replaces checking current park notices.
- Terrain shading and rain radar: available.
- Unlimited saved trail collections: available.
- Printable trail maps and elevation sheets: available.
Check the roadmap labels
The route and itinerary planner and cinematic flyover video export are planned features. They are not available now and have no promised delivery date.
Consider Pro on the basis of the current tools. The homepage labels the roadmap card separately so that an idea under development is not mistaken for something included in today’s working app.
Read the trial and billing details
The current Pro offer has a 7-day trial with a card required, followed by $29.95 every 4 weeks. A four-week billing interval is not a calendar month. Confirm the amount, currency and terms displayed at checkout before subscribing.
You can cancel the subscription. Free features remain available independently of Pro. The pricing page is the place to review the current offer and start the checkout flow.
